Vgs/cir06/22 Nov 11, 2022 GENTLE REMINDER -Winter Timings & Winter School Uniform (2022-2023) Dear Parents Warm Greetings! Please note that winter timings of the school will be applicable from Monday November 14, 2022. The change in reporting timing from Nov 14, 2022 to Mar 31, 2023 is as below: IV-XII: 7:45 am to 7:55 am PS-III: 7:55 am to 8:10 am There is no change in the time of dispersal. School Transport: School bus students’ timings would shift by 15 minutes in the morning to adjust to the winter arrival timings. Winter Uniform: It is being observed that many students are wearing jeans, coloured wind-shielders, coloured shirts etc. Please note that such discrepancies are strictly not allowed. In case the size or a particular item (sweater, coat etc) is not available, the students can wear proper winter Galaxy uniform for the duration. It is mandatory to wear proper winter uniform from Dec 01, 2022. • Winter uniform- Full sleeves school shirt and trousers, school sweater, school blazer, school tie, school belt and socks, black ribbons/hair bands/black patka (wherever applicable) • Optional: black cap / gloves (no other colour would be allowed). • Please note that there is no change in the galaxy uniform. Points to be noted: * Students are expected to wear the correct size of uniform. Oversized jackets/blazers and sweaters with extra long sleeves and drooping shoulders as well as extra long trousers folded up 2-3 times are strictly not allowed as they mar the appearance of the child. * The length of the girls’ skirts should not be more than 1 inch above the knees and not shorter than this too.
