ADVISORY FOR SAFETY OF CHILDREN WHILE BEING FERRIED BY PRIVATE CABS/TAXIS

To, (1) All Cab Drivers ferrying the School Children (2) All the Parents of Venkateshwar Global School Sub:- ADVISORY FOR SAFETY OF CHILDREN WHILE BEING FERRIED BY PRIVATE CABS/TAXIS Dear All, While keeping the safety and security of all the students in mind, who are being ferried by cab/taxi under a direct verbal/written agreement between parents and Cab/Taxi owners, in addition to other applicable documents/certificate, it is mandatory that Vehicle Owners/Drivers are strictly following the guideline/traffic rules issued by competent authority and at the same time they are in the possession of the following documents/certification/clearance while ferrying the school children:- A. A valid driving license of the Driver, B. A Badge by conductor issued by concerned department of Govt. of National Capital territory of Delhi (GNCTD), C. Police verification by Delhi Police regarding antecedents of the DRIVER & CONDUCTOR, D. Valid RC, commercial permit and fitness certificate. ( In case the vehicle is propelled by CNG fuel, the CNG endorsement on RC along with the CNG Cylinder fitness certificate and CNG compliance plate). E. Valid Insurance and Pollution certificate F. One Fire extinguisher and Medical Kit, The parents are also to ensure that the cab/taxi driver has a conductor/helper (female conductor in case of girl child) at all the time and simultaneously the vehicle owner/driver of the vehicle is not carrying the students more than the capacity of the vehicle as per the permit. Parents are also advised to carry out frequent checks to ensure that that the Drivers /Conductors /helpers are not under the influence of any drug or intoxication.
